RFS volunteers and the Library All RFS volunteers are welcome to use the Library for browsing or study or to borrow items. Volunteers visiting the Library. Brigade visits to the Library: You can arrange for your brigade to visit the Library on a Saturday or Sunday or some other time. Contact the librarians to discuss. What's in the RFS library? Over 700 videos and DVDs, from training videos like Structural Firefighting to DVDs like The RFS Story More than 6,000 books, reports, conference papers and training manuals. Titles range from How to Motivate People to Great Australian Bushfire Stories Magazines and Journals - over 60 titles, from Firehouse to Harvard Business Review Daily newspapers - including The Land, we also hold RFS press clippings The library is the place to: - see footage of vintage Holden utes battling grassfires! - get ideas for your brigade training and volunteer activities! - learn more about firefighting techniques! - study footage of famous fire incidents! - browse firefighting magazines from all over the world! - read the newspapers!
